I just came across this post. I have been off the site for awhile since I sold my 32 Woodie about a year ago. It is in good hands and getting done.

Do you have the rear upper frame brackets...

You can also try Simple Green. I put a Holly 94 in a 50/50 mix of Simple Green and water and the carb came out great!
