I don't think so, there is seldom any wear on that side of the shaft, I have
2 Zeniths hanging up that do not have them, I believe the plug would only be removed if the bushings have been replaced...

The first thing I would do is make sure the pitman arm bolt is tight, it takes a lot of torqueing to make that clamp close up, if that doesn't fix it then I would recheck all the measurements in the...

I have 2 marvel carburetors that I am reassembling, I am sure that the idle jet size would be the same as any Zenith, 44-48?, it would make sense if it was both having the same throttle diameters,...

If you haven't done so I would suggest installing the pencil filter in the tank and
remove the filter at the carb, in my opinion there is better fuel flow without it.

Be sure that the idle speed is down below 6-700 RPM or lower , and the GAV is almost closed, then set the idle air screw at 1.1/2, - just a thought.
