Re: 31 roadster conv. Top iron question

The...

Re: Lebonney Baron question

To reinforce the earlier comments, I called LB this week to get a missing page that they left out of their roadster top install instructions. I also received a not so warm response. It was quite a...

Re: Lebaron Bonney Disappointment

I purchased a 31 top kit from LB and also agonized over the instructions. I looked at their video many times (terrible background music) and went back over the instructions several times. I also...

Re: how do i fix this roadster door problem

Uh oh!

Marco's website has an excellent dissertation on roadster door alignment.

However.... here's what your problem most likely stems from. Over a period of time, and this is most...

Re: Re arching front spring

Sorry, I didn't answer all of your questions...

The Model A Ford As Henry Built it has a excellent spring chart. But if my memory serves me right, it only shows the centerline-to-centerline...

Re: Re arching front spring

For sure, take the spring set to a spring shop. You may want to take the specs and tell them the CL to CL spring perch measurement when assembled. They should be able to do an excellent job.

I...

Re: Looking for information on mounting a roadster top

Call LeBaron Bonney and see if they will send you their instruction sheets. I bought a 30/31 Deluxe Roadster top and have the detailed instructions but I don't think I would use these for the 29.

Re: Wood Restoration

Sorry - I forgot to mention, if you replace the wood, use red oak, not white oak. With red oak you do not need to stain and the clear urethane has a slight amber tint and will darken the wood just a...

Re: Wood Restoration

Sorry, but bleach will do just that. Your oak will be a sickly washed out color and oil will not color wood. Applying a stain will only make it look uglier.

Two remedies would be to a) remove the...
