The back of wheel does not clear the caliper by less than an inch which does not allow the wheel to slip on to the lugs. Are you thinking a spacer on the hub might work? I appreciate any help you can...

The flange on the back side of the wheel will not clear the caliper by about 3/4 inch or an inch, so the wheel won't slide on to the lugs...you thinking what I've been thinking...put a spacer on the...

8-lug 16" OEM wheels and disc brakes?
Does anyone know if there exists an 8-lug 16" steel wheel that will fit over the caliper of front disc brakes on a 65 F-250? I'm not sure where the disc brakes are from, but the original steel wheels...

I'm thinking the problem could be the distributor itself...I will pull it out and check it... Do you have any suggestions regarding how to tell what might be wrong/worn out, etc...?

I'll try to replace the power valve, but it was replaced with the one that came with the kit when I rebuilt the carb. Could be it's not the real Holley part you mention. I'll check it...

Timing is right on at 8 degrees advanced. Fuel delivery is fine, engine turns normally, starts right up and runs terribly, won't idle, popping and sputtering with lots of rich smoke out...
