Re: NC title transfer
There will probably be a NCDMV officer look at the car. We have had this happen several time with customers that have cars brought into NC, although these were purchased cars. If he shows up with a...

Re: Any "Barner's" In Franklin , NC ?
There was a Clyde Bates that died awhile back. He and his brother ran B&B Concrete. The business is still ongoing. The number is 828-524-6483. Suggest you call and see if this was the same. If so I'm...

Re: Model A car names
Was having a hard time trying to come up with a name. Thought about one of my favorite Mexican beers, Negro Modella. But just learned that the fellow that built it, and I bought it from, passed away....

Re: Model A Heated Garage Question
My guess, only a guess, is that opening the window causes a loss of heat. This causes your heat source to run, thereby producing more heat to be supplied. With the window closed, the heat runs less...

Re: Roadster vs. Closed Cab Pickup
I have a 31 CCPU that I noticed had "shrunk" over the years. Took the seat back out and replaced with plywood covered in egg crate foam and burlap. Looks great and gave me the space I needed.

Re: Model A pickup cover
Anyone know of the vendor that has the kit? Living away from any major source of wood, a kit might be the best solution.

Model A pickup cover
I have a 31 pickup and want to make a bed cover for this. My idea is to build a huckster-type cover. Plan to have the sides open like you might see of a truck that would sell produce, or the like,...

Gunfight at the OK Corral
Well, that it what it sounded like. I'm new to the Model A world. My 31 pickup had been running great and then, all of a sudden, started to backfire like there was a gunfightt. Lost power, but...

Re: Which Wood Would You Use?
If you want a hard wood, that will withstand the weather use teak, or ipe. Neither need, or will accept, very well any top dressing. Teak should be oiled about once a year. Another hard wood is...
