Make certain your engine # matches the one on the title and it should be a quick/smooth process.

If not, re-stamp the engine block and distress it so the stamping looks old before calling the DMV...

If it came from James Rupert, he will refresh it after the warranty period for a much lower cost than his original unit......he's the best water pump guy I know of.

excellent source for a rebuilt carburetor is Bert's in Denver.
I had a Coupe that ran poorly for years despite continuing efforts to fix.
a Bert's carb made it run great!

How did you lift the engine?

Repair tent at the national meet had an engine hoist.

at every national meet you see someone doing a major repair.
2012 Marquette MI was my turn.
Clutch disc rivets sheared while on a side trip 50 miles from Marquette, AAA brought us back to the meet....
