Re: "Saging' Frame? /Motor Mounts?

This can result from cracked rear engine mounts. If that’s not it, maybe the frame is bent. There are shops that can fix the frame.

Re: Smooth Shifting The Model A

You don’t need to double clutch up shifting. Just spend a little time in neutral before you go to second. If you want to play with the clutch pedal to spend the time, that’s okay.
If you are not...

Re: Smooth Shifting The Model A

You can make this easier to understand if you say if you are up shifting or down shifting. For up shifting, no need to ever double clutch. It does nothing. Many people do let the clutch up in...

Re: New to Ford Model A

If the horn sounds good, keep it. Pack hard used a big horn like that, and probably a lot of other cars in the 20’s.

Re: Tail light / Switch Issues

You said you put new wiring in for the front but not the back??? It’s all one big harness. You must have just replaced some wires. Not familiar with LED head lamps, but adding a resistor to the head...

Re: Positive Ground

Ground is positive and the hot wires are all negative . Any hot to ground will light the lights. You don’t have to treat it differently.

Re: New Two Blade Fan

Don’t use a spacer if it does not allow the two tapers to fit together tightly. We had one weld itself to the pump nose. Make clearance.

Re: Trying to find the source of a blown starter fuse.

I assume you are using a 20 amp fuse.
It must be in the light circuit. Do a visual check of the wires under the car to make sure a wire clip of something else sharp has not grounded a wire.

Re: Install Optima Battery in Ford case

Why spend that much for just a battery. Optima sure has good marketing.
