I want to do some maintenance on the window cranks on my 31 Tudor and was wondering how to remove the interior panels covering the window cranks.

Not really sure you would need one.

I saw one on youtube a week or so back and for the life of me, I cannot find it.

It showed a guy trying to see if all the terminals on the inside of the cap were firing. It looked homemade though....

Google and lot's of practice BEFORE you try it on the shell.

Also, Fill up some old socks with sand to back up the dent when "TAPPING" out the dent.

200-600 paper is what you use to apply paint as it leaves a semi-ruff texture for the paint to grab.

For polishing you'll need to wet sand with paper in the 1000-2000 range, THEN move into creams...

Question Windshield Hinge Lube

Hello All,

I have my windshield out and am replacing the rubber seals. My windshield hinge is a little stiff and while it's out, I'm wondering what to lube the frame hinge with?

They want the wheels to force the top of the dolly to rotate on the center pin instead of relying on the cars mechanical steering to assist the turn. Not all vehicles have a tight turning radius but...

Try screwing the adjusting wedges in a little and/or swap wheels around.

Did you disassemble the brakes at all or just swap loaded backing plates?

That was my choice, ... Originals for 1200 or tubes for 400. It cost me 800 to have the car look correct.

I bought the complete kit (nothing else to buy) for the original style of shocks with original style shock tubes from either Snyders or Brattons, I'd have to look.

Set me back $1,200 bucks. :eek:...

This seems to be what happens when the engine and trans mounts need replacing. It causes the engine and trans to sit lower in the car. Mine was like that until I fixed all the mounts....
