Front Bumper Bar Length 30/31"

What time mfg. build date range did they use a 60" bumper bar length vs 63" length for the 30-31 style bumpers? Keith

Thanks for the response it was our thought as well that the tube may be thicker rubber.
I have run radial tubes in my bias ply tires for almost 10,000 miles without a flat or leak until last week...

We have a young gentleman in our club who up to last year at 91 was driving his A and just recently I met a gentleman from FL on the National Tour who was 89 and going strong.

I did not drill out the old rivets. I used a die grinder and ground flush to the backing plate and then punched them out. I then used a gauge pin in the second hole and bolted the tracking plate...

I purchased them a few years back and were from either Snyder or Bratton, my guess is that when they were ground between centers by the mfg. and that the wheel was dressed or worn with a slight taper...
