I just did mine, I removed the two support rods at the top of the radiator, loosened the top radiator hose at the head, and just moved the top forward towards the headlight bar. Bonnet will come...

I stayed with the New Style Seal and followed the Video posted by JSeery, and it worked. No leaks.

Fitted up front Sheetmetal. I went with the suggestion from BRIAN. Inner Fenders, Grille then Hood. Fitted up real Good. Then loosely fitted Fender brackets and installed Fenders.

If I leave as is will the oil leak become worse or just be a drip . It seems to only start leaking after the engine has been stopped for 10 minutes.

The Seal appears to be the same as you have pictured, Oil Slinger in place, but I am thinking that the oil is coming under the Speedi sleeve on the grooves of the OEM Sleeve.

Thanks 51 MERC-CT. Would you know where the Non Spiral Sleeve is available.
Or it looks like I have to once again take the Oil Pan off and just install the Rope Seal. Bugger.

I agree with Gary that where the clips go is stamped into the trim.

I also used the Hood Stainless side trim clips. They appear to be the same.
