Long mount is to position the dual master cylinder filler cap directly below the existing original (former) battery access hatch for inspection and servicing!

Reference the question of the master cylinder- apparently the heat shield is doing its job as no problems have been experienced over several summers in the hottest temps and all operating conditions...

I started with straight pipes with my 48 Flathead powered 35 Coupe - lasted one day and proved insanely loud - and I do like loud - but that was ridiculous - so since the exhaust system was built...

Joe - just curious - this is the oil drain on my 35 Coupe that has a 59A with a two piece truck pan - is this what yo are refering to?

Actually yes . I am concerned about finishes . but this question was for another project of mine where the suspension trailing must be semi-gloss and the powder coater made it gloss!:eek:

I have a suspension part that was incorrectly gloss powder-coated by the supplier that I want to change to semi-gloss paint finish?? I do not want to sand blast or burn off the gloss - was hopeful...

My 39 has a 4" dropped Cragar front Axle with a 2" lowered rear - big small tires - I will need to check the tire sizes.:cool:

Here is the way I handled the heat in my 35 Three Window Coupe. The pull cable on the dash actuates a hidden on/off valve under the dash the controls the flow of hot water to the 1940 Ford Heater....

Here is the Offenhauser in my 39 Ford Coupe - it allows for the use of the stock 39 Ford clutch assembly - also you can see an adapter plate to match to the 1951 Cadillac Engine.

KH Bent spokes are a stronger wheel - they have 40 spokes instead of the standard 35 Ford 32 spokes. KH bent spokes are riveted in place vs welded standard. Also the 40 spoke KH has its spokes bent...

My dual 48 Strombergs are direct linkage - both with choke plates present- however only one choke plate functions while the other is locked in the open position.

I am happy with my 59A 284cid with Schneider 270F (365 lift / 112 lobe separation) and dual 48 Strombergs - has a ScoT Blower - lots of vacuum for the Columbia
