For my 36 ford 5W Coupe I measure about 1-1/4" on each side. I am not sure this is factory, since these brackets came from other cars and I made sure that both sides were equal by bending the arms. ...

I had a similar problem, but the liquid separated in the sight glass. I uncoiled the bulb end and hung the gauge up to allow gravity move fluid back to bulb. It did work. It is worth a try.

I located the rubber joint at the bottom of the rear window.


1/4 windows I used the one piece rubber seal design from Drake.


The seal between the rubber seal and the body I used 3M black...

deuce lover is correct, the 35 and 36 Ford ignition switch on position is down. 37 Ford changed to the on position up.


Also if your switch works in the up position, then you have the wrong...
