NAPA Balkamp #703-1020 is what I have on my 32 pickup. The pickup tank is under the seat , but I believe the caps are the same other than finish

Also there are early and late inner caps. Be sure you test fit the inner cap into the distributor.

You are correct, the tail section of a 36 fender has a crown / convex to it while a 35 fender has a dip / concave tail where the stands bolt on.
