A few months ago I sold 2 sets of '33,s to a fellow Barner in Colorado. One set had matching arms and the other set was mismatched.

Do you have any holes in the firewall near the floorboards? If so, a piece of bailing wire (for pulling) or a 1/4 inch dowel ( for pushing) might do the trick. Good luck.

I haven't been around any 59a's. But if they're anything like my 21 studder and have a vacuum brake in the distributor, you might try disconnecting and plugging the vac hose and see if the noise goes...
