Re: 28, 29 vs 30,31 What do you like any why?

That beautiful curved line on the cowl sides of the 28-29 does it for me. I've had a couple including an RPU -- and indeed, it was tiny. I'd consider a 30-31 roadster next, because you can get down...

WTB: Wide-Five wheel centers in 15 inch rims

Looking for a set someone has fabricated, passed them up at swap meets but now I have a need. I understand Marmon-Herrington's came with 15 inch wide-fives, but don't expect to ever find a set...

Re: Not Ford, But Definitely Timely

Ditto here. We crank it up to HIGH about ten minutes before climbing into bed, then turn it to low when we get in. Love it.

Yep, the ivory knobs. Thanks. I'll do the levering off. I really want to save the originals.

Im working on the interior of my 5W and would like to pull off these ivory knobs and clean up the arms. How do you get the knobs off? Do I need to drill out the pins from the back? I see these pins...

Supplier for '35 Floorboard Siffener Cleats?

My '35 5W is an early car and didn't have these floor pan stiffeners -- but I'd like to install them. Is there a vendor that still offers them? I could fab up my own, but thought I'd check first....

Re: Walker Radiator

Same thing happened when Chassis Engineering abruptly closed their doors. Eventually Heidt's came in and took over. Hopefully a quality vendor will do the same with Walker. There's just too much...

Re: Walker Radiator

Heard rumors last night on Instagram and Facebook. This is similar to the time Clark Foam abruptly stopped making surfboard blanks. Affected everyone. I was about to order a Walker radiator for my...

Re: Stewart Warner Parts Source?

Thanks, but I'm I'm looking for u-brackets, not a gauge panel.

Lots of Autometer brackets available, which I can modify. I'd like to find an S-W insulated ammeter bracket though.

Stewart Warner Parts Source?

I have some older Stewart Warner 2 1/16" gauges I've collected over the years and I'd like to run 'em -- but unfortunately they didn't come with the mounting brackets. I need both the standard height...

Re: '35 Coupe Windshield Drain Questions

THAT'S what I'm looking for. Thanks Rich. Yeah, my driver's side hole isn't even close to being in the same position. Mine must be DIY. Do you have a photo of the nipple underneath (is there one?) --...

Re: '35 Coupe Windshield Drain Questions

My kick panels are out, and no, there don't appear to be any tubes behind them. I'm starting to think my car might be like Randy's -- an early model. The weird position of the drain hole in mine,...

'35 Column Drop/Lock/Switch: Lube?

I'm reassembling my column drop after a clean up/repaint. When I disassembled it, it was pretty oily inside. It had obviously been worked on before, and if it's anything like the rest of the car,...
