I repaired the repairs that were already made and painted, it looks good and feels good.
But like stated above, the cracks will show again down the road. Looking at the wheel it seems great unless...

I did fitted the two sides then the top rubber, if you put the top rubber on first the sides are very hard to get fitted in

Could not get them to go thru the stem, they are Sears tires from about 1963, I ran a piece of wire down the stem but there is a blockage, maybe they did the stems different back then.

Click the "blue post reply" lower left bottom of page, when text box opens, in the top middle of the bar you will see a "paperclip" next to the smiley face, click that, a window...

Thats what I did/used, seems to work real good, my only regret is that I did not make them deeper at the time.
