I agree that a bad cutout on top of generator is most likely the cause of dead battery.
Also if cutout or wires to the cutout are not installed correctly same thing will happen.

Yes the WIPER port is located at left side of manifold near manifold mounting bolt #4.
Look for the BRASS fitting and copper tubing which has been crimped over and cut...

Yes the vacuum port for assisted clutch was a large threaded hole found at the front of manifold.
The vacuum unit was mounted on Drivers side (other side of engine) on early B blocks of LHD...

Looks like a RHD intake where someone cut the stud off the manifold then drilled and tapped hole to install vacuum line.
Normally that is the place where the bell crank for the linkage for spark...

I agree that there is a stray spark arcing in area of #1 plug.
Look closer while running in dark garage to track down stray spark.
I sometimes see the brass spark plug "wire" where it connects...

Berts has the A-6600 oil pump rebuild kit.
Bushings, gasket, gear and shaft with gear.
This shaft is turned down to 0.410 from .498 and has been manufactured this way for years that I know of....

Bill Kenz told me in the 1960s that the increased oil flow was needed to keep the Model B dipper tray full at higher RPM.
It is not about the main bearings.
It is more about keeping Model B rods...
