Hi, I am looking for nice chrome pieces, that someone would have removed to customize their car.
With the price of plating, I thought it would be easier to find some stuff already redone, but not...

I know this probably wont help, but a wise old flathead mechanic once told me "90 percent of flathead ignition problems, are fuel related"
Did you by any chance just get a fresh tank of bad fuel...

35 -40 chassis are roughly the same
41 -48 are roughly the same
40 -41 year break, was a comlpetly new design change

I took this pic at a car show one night and have always wondered what the deal was with the car on the left's front bumper. It is not just the way the picture was taken. The bumper is truly curved...

The way I understand it, is 41 should start with a 1, 42 with a 2, 46 with a 6, 47 with a 7, etc
My 48 coupe vin starts with an *89A
There should be a "star" at the beginning and at the end of the...

Just finished this job on my Mercury.
Bought an adjustable reamer for $29 and reamed them myself.
It needs to be a long reamer that will act as a pilot to keep the top and bottom aligned.
