Re: Horn/Light Switch Rod???

My horn rod is too short to make contact with the center terminal inside of the switch. When you say it is supposed to extend 1 1/4 past the plate, where are you taking this measurement from exactly....

Re: Pressurized radiator, good or bad?

So maybe I'm overreacting, just finished a thirty mile trip (mostly at 50 MPH) and it took less than a water bottle to top it off. I think I'll just leave it alone and watch it.

Re: Pressurized radiator, good or bad?

My problem now is pushing water out when driving at 45 MPH or better. Just now starting to get the car out, a couple of ten mile trips have routinely required a half of gallon of water to top off...

Re: Pressurized radiator, good or bad?

Ok, update. It was pushing water out like crazy. With a little help I corrected the carburetor and timing adjustments and no more water loss. I think the radiator is going to stay as it is. Thanks...

Pressurized radiator, good or bad?

I am a new model A owner and have issues with overheating/water pushing out the overflow. Can anyone give some input on the benefits of a pressurized system?
