Your cam or rod may be worn. I understand in old days guys would either weld a spot on rod or add a washer on top.

Thanks guys. I can recall Bubba recommending the IR175 over the IH200 for my 39. Stating that points would last longer.

Hence my request for best condenser for a stock 52 F1.

My condenser went bad. I had a Napa rr175 in glove box. I installed it and truck started and ran fine at idle.

Very informative. Not to hijack the thread but...I wasn’t aware a ballast could be intermittent. If driving what would be the indication of an intermittent resistor going bad and then working again?

39 seat springs

My seat springs on driver side are worn/weak. I know, maybe I need lose a couple pounds.

You guys have a way to beef them up. One friend said roll newspaper and insert into spring.

On my 39 EAB. I’m running dual edelbrock 94s rebuilt by CharlieNY (power valve sealed). Offy intake, direct linkage, car runs great.

Hi guys

See pic is the the right size for the F1? I measured the running board and it seems correct, but guy writing review said itís small.

Changing side window: I know the divider needs needs to be undone and moved out of way. Then remove the two clips that hold window to regulator.
