vinegar in gas tank ??

I do not want to take my gas tank out to clean it. I want to fill it with vinegar . I do not know how long to let it soak, any ideas ? Has anybody done this, how much mess does this make on top of...

Model B motor question

have a model B motor with a 28-29 A oil pan on it on a model A chassis. (Just bought it) I did not think that a ford a oil pan would fit . Anybody got any info on this. steve

no screen top or bottom . Poured gas through it 20 times.Blew with air sometimes it would stop up, and I would blow air from the bottom to the top. It seems like there is no end to the crud commin...

looking at this closer ,found out that the rivets that hold the hub to the fan (4) were loose. I might try to tighten them up and see how that goes. thanks to all, steve

another model a`er said that my pressure plate may be out of adjustment (My Fingers were all even) ,he claimed it would make noise when running . Have you ever heard of this before? I will check all...

thanks for reply, this is bugging me and I hate to take it all back apart. Doesn`t the pilot bearing turn all the time when the engine is running?

yes I have clutch pedal play, any other ideas, I have never had one make this noise

I have a winding noise under inspection plate in flywheel / clutch area. Does not vary when clutch is pressed or released, new throw out bearing and pilot bearing. thanks, steve
