Saddly, like chrome shops, radiator shops seem to be going away ..... I remember one man service garages & Rad. shops, now all gone. The few left working on our old Fords are getting old too .......

My 8ba in a 52 Ford ran at 180 with 180 stats. Isky Max1 cam same heads as yours with stock radiator & fan. You should be fine. Tinker is right about flow & timing......

Times 2 on Reds Headers. They even have early 239 y-block stuff. Have gotten 2 sets of headers from them for 8BAs that were GR8.

I set fuel pressure at 2.5 with good results You may have a vacuum leak These guys know far more than I do and you'll get it resolved.

I've only had 8ba flatheads & only had minor, easily cured heating issues. I have a friend with a 38 Ford who runs NO FAN & has no heating issues. Interesting .....

Thanks rotorwrench. He used wd-40 so..... He does have "heat" available. Will passs it on.
This isn't a problem on a flatty. Thank goodness.
