Building full fendered pickup with aprons. I would expect 1/4” to 1/2” gap. But not 1”.

Hi All,
With the wood blocks installed for a 31 CCP roughly how much of a gap is there from the bottom of the cab to the top of frame. The gap with the wood block installed is between for me is 3/4”...

String around the u-joint to not smash fingers. Wheels off the ground and spin tires until the driveshaft starts to slides in. Pull string out and finish mating the two together.
