Re: Radiator for my 1939 Ford

Look back through the Swap Meet, Early Ford "For Sale" items on this website. There was recently a nice one for sale in the Albany/Troy NY area.

Re: 35 Ford Columbia Speedometer?

No problem. I ran mine for quite a while until I got the changer. Just do the math when in overdrive; increase the indicated speed by 30%. BTW, my changer doesn't use vacuum, it's manually changed.

Re: Industria Argentina

I've been fooling around with a gas gauge sender that has no markings at all. Is there a way to identify a oem sender; ie. KS vs. an Argentina made sender?

Re: Failed Restart Ignition Resistor

Maybe a bad, or just dirty ignition switch. I had that problem with my '39 and I had to rebuild the switch.

Re: Type nuts used for 42-48 ignition coil wires

I've seen these "tube" nuts in both brass or bronze color or shiny like stainless. Also, some knurled and some smooth. Which of these, if any, were original ?

Re: Need help Identifying Make of Overdrive

That unit was built by Lloyd Young of Winchester, Ohio. He was known as "Mr. Overdrive". Unfortunately, he passed away in 2017 at 87 years old. His o/d conversion was one of the best that I've seen.

Looking close at the chart that Adileo posted, it has an arrow pointing to the fan hub that indicates "V" and I think "B". At the bottom of the chart, "V"
