Did a search and didn't find a thread. Remember a few years ago a thread that someone was furnishing them. Anyone have a source for one? New or used.

Gary, idle jet and comp jet are 10-32 as you stated. Maybe Renners has the idle jets?

Was just looking at a Simmons thread by Purdy Swoft dated 12-21-2012. He listed photos but they are no longer with the thread.

Here is the idle jet, it is similar but about 1/8 inch longer than...

Can someone verify the thread size on a Simmons idle jet? The thread size on a Zenith idle jet is M5x.75 metric.

Other than the thread size possibly different. Is there any other difference in...

Thanks for your replies. I had a Simmons carburetor here and just removed the GAV. It is the same with the holes in and near the tip. Here is a photo of the needle.

One of my gas adjustment needles has two small holes at and near the tip. All the others are solid. What is the application for the one with the holes?

Just curious. Would a Model A with the original motor be valued higher than a replacement or restamped motor? Also would a replacement or restamped motor give you pause not to buy the car?

Oil pressure and water pipe question

My friend that recently purchased the 1928 Phaeton has a few more questions. He'd like some advice on.

There was an oil filter added to the engine. There is an oil pressure gauge mounted below...

A friend recently purchased a 1928 Phaeton. The car had been sitting three years. The fuel bowl was removed from the tank and fuel drained. That left about 1" of sludge on the bottom.
