36 Ford PU shock mount mod to 2" body drop

Has anyone come up with a good modification to the front upper shock mounts to allow use of same shock with 2" body drop with extended shackles?

36 Ford PU cowl vent screen installation

I bought a new screen from MACs that is supposed to fit my 36 Pickup. It appears to be too big to fit down in properly to allow vent to open and close freely.
Anyone experienced anything similar?

I was able to read the serial number from the left frame rail. The number puts at mid year 1937 build. Thanks to everyone for your advise.

Thanks for S/N ID reference. My body is on and front S/N is not apparent. I guess I am out of luck until such time I disable the cab/box from the frame.

Thanks for the pictures and the info. I wasn't able to find the frame serial NO. However from the information provided I have a 36 rear axle and a 39 steering box.

What would be the red line on a 51 merc flathead. The engine has Offenhauser heads and edlebrock 4 barrel carb.
What would be a good cruise RPM?

How can you differentiate an 1936 Ford PU frame and rear end from a 1939 Ford frame and rear end. I do have the 1939 brakes and tranny, but I am not sure of the rest.

Fronts will not lock up either. Supposedly the shoes were arced prior to the installation.
