Tyree Harris make original exact fit and color if that is what you are asking. IF you are a member of the EFV8 club his ad is in the V8 Times!! Have used his stuff....dead on exact!! (804) 556-5200...

If they are for a "B" they will not work as they "should" only have "One" "inlet" and "outlet". SO not sure what you trying to indicate by "B" but on here a "B" is 4 Cyl.

Thanks for everyone's input, I'll follow Flatjack9 & Ol Ron's input and do the 45 with the 3 heat cycles, its for just ONE nut as I removed to clean and lube the ground strap!!! Thanks again.

Correct Head torque

IS my memory correct on 55lb's is the head nut torque for the flathead??? OR is it 65lbs (hence the reason for the post)

For the 3rd time, STOCK. 6V system, positive ground. Original 39 Mercury engine....NO aluminum heads, NO high performance JUST STOCK. AND numbers sure help a fellow, I've got 3 different NKG...

IS there a preferred "Brand" spark plug for your flathead? What prompts the question is my best friend is a "Willys" guy and all the guy's on his support page prefer the Champion J8 for the Willys...

The coil is a Skip Haney (Ford Coil) redo. I pulled the Dist and cleaned the points the best I could, I tried getting an ohms reading from the resistor/points but wasn't sure what I am...

I did run a jumper wire straight from the battery to the coil during one round of spinning "Just" to see IF we would get spark...the first go around I "DID" but when I tried that again NO SPARK. As...

Have a good battery with 3 strong cells, 6,28V. When I first measured the voltage at the coil after installation it was showing 5.8V. Pulled a spark plug to spin and check for spark.....NO...
