What a pretty roadster, a friend of mine had one in school and would probably give his life to have one again that was that nice. Beautiful ! Looks like you did better in Canada than I did for sure.

I am have a lot of trouble trying to find linkage and assorted parts for Holley 94's carb's, plenty of parts for Stromberg 97's most everywhere. Where to search ?

Peter, I have a hardcover book with a date of 1936. It says, Ford Service School, wheel alignment. Measures 5 1/8 x 7 1/4 , 63 pages. Just about all you would ever need to know to get your job done....

Strip out a good car on Sat AM, throw the parts over the banking at the farm and be racing Saturday night ! Those were the days I remember, great memories for sure.

I wonder just how important it is to have a real snug fit on throttle shaft in the cast iron base ? What would be acceptable and if the base is a bit worn, should you drill it out and make a bushing...

I can certainly agree with getting a vehicle inspected. My own fault for looking at great pictures, Top was beautiful, bottom, not so good. Still spending to make it nice. Also paid many $$$ too much...

If you have access to Mack Hil's Ford Pickups book 1932-1952. Look at page 118 and there is a pretty good picture of the bracket with tire band. I have that same bracket on mine and it has a factory...

steering wheel position ?

With out my taking it apart, anyone know if the wheel is keyed or splined on a 46 Ford pickup ? The two spokes are north and south instead of east and west like I think they should be.

Wondering what group a 7x10x7 1/2 battery would be in ? Good brand other than "Optima" ?
