Is there an actual vent hole in the rear axle or differential or does all pressure get relived through the vent in the shift tower.


I can't find any reference to an axle vent in three books...

No welding on studs. All new drums and parts...ALL New every piece. The arm had been connected in between the toggles as directed in the manuals with the toggles installed correctly creating a slot...

Is Wheel Wobble a Strain on Axle?

Someone pointed out my right rear wheel had a small wobble going down the road. I jacked up the car and switched tires to each side. The wobble changed sides so it is a slightly bent wheel.

The passenger side Emergency Brake is not working. I removed the drum and found the drum had worn the head off the center toggle lever pin where the connecting lever connects to the two toggle...
