I looked in Bratton's catalog and it shows 1/2"-13 for the oversize stud, 27/64"
drill is correct for that. You use a U size drill bit for the 7/16"-14 tap for the stock

I looked in the Ford parts book and Hollander interchange and they both show the same transmission for 6 and 8 cylinder. I've never seen a trans like the one pictured above.
The bed looks like 1948...

It's a Dual High for a 1928-29 AA Ford truck, direct and under drive.
Kind of a boat anchor but the dip stick and tube are missing on a lot of them.

Going by the emergency brake cross shaft it's before April 1930, can't
see the front cross member very well to tell if it's a 1930.
