I took my 4-blade off, and went...

Re: 1957 Ford Country Sedan Transmission Question

DMSFRR, are you happy you bought them? On your T-bird? Did they change the look of your car a lot more than you expected?

Re: 1957 Ford Country Sedan Transmission Question

I will look, thanks. I don't want to change anything, just new tires and a set of Cragars, with he same width, backspace, etc. I have turbine wheel covers, and don't want to go to the wire wheels.

Re: Hemmings MOdel A Calendar

The thing ends up costing $21 now. My wife and I discussed me not getting one for Christmas this year. Sounds like we made the right choice.

I called a few months back to renew my...

Re: lug nut removal

Are you unbolting with a manual socket, a 4-way, or what?

Don't try a chisel or something like that. The blows like that will break the shoulder the studs go through on that 90+ year old hub.

Re: Itís getting harder to drive my A

It's why I always try to do as much as I can myself. No one ever does anything right. It's always "ahh that's good enough".

Re: Itís getting harder to drive my A

I called a shop that does nothing except springs, and alignments, suspensions... They wanted to guess at $240 if everything is ok. I was close to taking it to Tire Discounters, and now wondering...

Re: Do you take your Model A to the local self serve car wash?

It would be my choice of last resort. Did you know that these wand car washes are 99% recycled water that goes through a filter?
