Thanks for the info. Think I will purchase a new fan and water pump, then check the fit before installing. AZ Model A's should be able to supply good parts.

Generator. If your battery is down and will not start, you can push or hand crank. With an alternator have to push very fast to get it to charge.

Like others have said, if the field coils do not have any shorts to ground, use them. These generators are not high voltage so chances of arcing is small.
