I have nothing to compare them with. I do know they came in two different compression ratios, have a 25% increase in the water jackets. With my dual 97's on an Almquist manifold and headers it gets...

I hope the missing pin is NOT down inside the tranny. Hopefully you lost it while the tower was off the car.

If you're happy with the sealed beam conversion I would run the new harness and splice it to the sealed beams inside the shell. JMO

Try tightening the passenger's side U-bolt. The bumper is not straight, it's higher on the driver's side.

NOBODY has answered the original question, only their opinion on why to keep the mechanicals.
Many thousands of A's were converted to hydraulic. His car, his choice.

If you shot it and got 180, you're NOT overheating. You may have just overfilled it.
