Re: 29 Tudor interior panel question

The tips are wedge shaped, not really a point. Theyíre a 21 gauge, not sure hardware stores carry them, and they probably wonít work in another type of gun.

Re: 29 Tudor interior panel question

I used a Senco Finish Pro 21LXP. I had no problems with it tearing the fabric. Since it has practically no head, the ďnailĒ doesnít show.

Re: 29 Tudor interior panel question

I installed a new interior in my Ď29 Tudor just a couple of weeks ago. I used a pneumatic pin nailer with 5/8 nails. It worked really well.

Re: Ď29 Tudor Gas tank lace

Both sides are the same. The wire is on top of the welt, not in it. I took the welt completely off just to experiment, and the lines matched up really well. There’s nothing under the center hinge...

Ď29 Tudor Gas tank lace

I installed the original style welt (with the wire) on the gas tank. Iíve cut the welt 1 inch on both sides of the hook at the center and tightened the hook as much as possible, but it seems the hood...

Re: Front window on 29 Tudor - how to take out

Keep in mind, if the frame is rusty, the hinge probably has rust also. It may take a little penetrating oil and a fair amount of wiggling it before the hinge will slide out.

Re: Front window on 29 Tudor - how to take out

Sorry about the miss understanding. Youíll probably have to remove the
Sun visor and disconnect the windshield swing arms. Raise the windshield to about a 45 degree angle then it should slide out...

Re: Front window on 29 Tudor - how to take out

There should be 3 screws on the very top of the door frame holding a metal strip. Remove the strip, remove the door panel, disconnect the window channel from the regulator then you can pull the...

Re: 29 Tudor windlace question

I would recommend attaching the metal strip at the front of the door as tight as possible, especially where it curves about midway. If the fit isnít tight, the door garnish is going to hit it, making...

Re: 29 Tudor kick panels

I think your numbers 1, 2 and 5 are for screws holding the kick panel. Numbers 3 and 4 are for the door check strap bracket, which also hold the panel.
