Re: Engine Machining

Wherever you decide to go check them out in the archives here and on HAMB. The "&" symbol confuses the search engine so if looking for a company with that in their name go to Google and search for...

Re: 32` Hood on a 30`Model A

NO, the belts on a '32 won't match the Model A and the bottom of the 32 side panel curves down, see first 3 pictures. The last two show the same areas on a Model A. When using a '32 shell on a...

Re: VIN Number

Do it right. If the number on the title doesn't match a visible number on the car you will eventually have trouble selling it. If you are stopped by the police and they check the number (they do in...

Re: 4 cylinder motors

I can't think of any Model A speed Equipment that wouldn't fit on a '32-'34 engine unless you install the later engine in a '33-'34 car that requires the shorter 3 bolt water pump.

Re: 4 cylinder motors

My first suggestion is to put your general location in your profile. You should consider using a 4 cylinder transmission and putting the '39 gears in it and the '39 tower on it.

Re: Standard or Deluxe Model?

You should invest in a copy of the book that covers your cars from the Early Ford V8 Club: https://shop.efv8.org/collections/ford-books/products/1935-1936-ford-book-softbound

Not just for these...

Re: 1932 Radiator distance?

Put your radiator shell on and measure the length of the hood. Remember that the B and the V8 rods were a different length.

Re: 32 to 34 spindles

Short answer, YES. The Green Bible says part B 3105 (Spindle Assy -RH-LHD) fits 32-34 and B 3106 (Spindle Assy -LH-LHD) fits '32-'34.

Did you check where a person would leave a key for a tire lock? Maybe with the jack or lug wrench?
Can you still contact the previous owner, maybe he had a hiding place for the keys. I would...

People usually underestimate the power of exploding gas, use something else. You would probably be better off just leaving the sludge firmly attached to wherever it is until the next time you pull...
