Re: engine compression levels.
52 is pretty good.
If you have a standard head the math would be:
4.2x14.7. About 60 lbs on a new engine.
Some say the formula should be 4.2x14.7+14.7.

Re: Florida Drivers
A good friend of mine still has his red Rickman that he use to ride back in the 70-80s. That was one hell of a bike. My Penton could not keep up. Or maybe it was me that could not keep up!

I agree with synchro. I would start by taking the drum off, inspect the bearings, grease the bearings, and then tighten the proper way to rule out the bearing.
If that didnt help then look to the...

Re: Google " Model T Transport "
You don't bend an axle on
a Model A or a Model T by
winching a free rolling vehicle
in or out out of a trailer.
Double ditto from me!

Re: Window glass
The best and most accurate way is to bring the old glass to a glass shop and have them cut it the same way. You can not go wrong this way.

Re: LED headlight bulbs
I have been using the older LEDS for years and they are great. the way that i focus them is to go into a large dark parking lot and adjust them for the best light in front of me.
