Never heard of such a thing unless made as a one off. Best bet is to remove the extra padding right where the handle...

Plastic and it fits like a glove. Been on for years with no problems. I have what appears to be a stock radiator. Maybe a fit problem with an aftermarket radiator

Excellent job on the shroud. However, CASCO has a ready made lower shroud that covers the full bottom half of the radiator (for birds only). I have one of those and it is an exact firt.

Open the door and try to move the door up and down. If you have a lot of play the hinge pins need replacement (or a loose hinge)

If you are using a 57 or later trans, there are many different driven gears (the gears on the end of the cable) (tooth count). A good source for gears is ebay. I have gotten a number of them...

My opinion - SS is a waste of money, specially when you take into consideration how much road time on our old cars.


Some people have a problem getting good seals at the connection points with SS.

Check with Speedway. The still list a cylinder head generator mount for a 37-48, may have one for a later flathead. You may be able to use it with the angled water neck

I have a 52-53 Ford/Mercury oil pan. It's what I call a middle sump. It's for sale as I have sold my flathead powered car. It does have a small leak in the sump that needs to be welded.. Dipstick...
