FWIW, the Ctrl key and up arrow didn't work for me. What did work was right click on the image and select "open in new tab"

Methinks you mean a higher secondary winding rate , not higher primary. It's all a matter of ratio.


That's correct, the condenser needs to be matched to the coil.

Years ago I had an F-150 w/a 300 CID 6 cylinder. After about 200,000 miles or so I replaced all the main and rod bearing with .001" undersize inserts and also replaced the oil pump w/a high volume...

I used one of those but the copper tube didn't fit like it was supposed to, I fabricated a tube that would fit using the supplied fittings and the filter seems to work fine.

Some opt for a "remote" oil filter installation that puts the filtered oil into the front of the valve chamber. See post #11 in this old thread:...

It is called a by-pass system. Part of the oil goes through the filter and the remainder goes through the original route.

If the engine is clean inside and you use detergent oil and service it regularly I see no advantage in replacing the existing pan.

From way back I don't remember the handles having holes for pins and also holes for set screws, they only had the holes for pins.
And they weren't roll pins, just straight pins.
