Re: Rear Axle bearing Race

If you go to your profile page and look under "statistics" you should be able to pull up all your posts (I think).

Re: What happened to Third Gen Automotive?

Ditto Brent’s comment. I’ve received several orders over the past few months with no issues- the most recent just last week. Am very pleased with Third Gen!

You appear to be taking a page from Scott (Cold War Motors)! Am anxious to hear that little engine running Mart. As for the underside shots, they looked uncannily like underwater video from the...

Re: Is an air operated grease gun useful when working on a Model A?

Due to the volume necessary, I find the air grease gun especially useful for filling the driveshaft/transmission coupling clamshell following maintenance.

The trimmed sections on either side and the one in the middle are for attachment of the (3) top straps, per pics attached. :)

Re: 1931 Standard Roadster Top Bow wood

Fundytides: I redid my ‘30 Std top several years ago and kept the original bows. They’re up in the garage loft. Will dig them out this aft, take some pics & measurements and post them for you. Stay...

Re: Oil filter canister: Bolt torque?

After leaking a fair bit of oil on initial startup I researched this and came up with 14 lbft. Can’t remember the source but haven’t had a drop pass the cover since!

Need generator advice

Electrical gurus please chime in. I bought a recently rebuilt 2-brush generator and set it up on my engine test stand to check it out (after polarizing per the usual procedure). It didn't appear to...

Re: 1953 f100

I'm with Tubman on this. Evaporust/Rust-911 worked great on my '39 block. As Tinker points out, probing the water passages to loosen & flush out the crap is also key.
