That's an A...more than likely after the A's were produced. The bezel on the T's were
flat and didn't have the raised section on it..

Now THAT'S interesting,......is the "pad" for the fuel pump cast on the block?
OR was it a hole that some one tried to make do...?

It is / they are casting from crummy Aluminum and will fail from abrasion.
Any aircraft repair station has the dye penetrating fluids too check them,...which isn't a
bad idea!

The way that I understand it...
The body's MAY have come with 4 holes in the back....BUT the frames were generic to
"A's". On the assembly line, IF it was to be a CCPU,..they would drill...

Off the top of my head..I think your backwards, best guess.
The arms that are closer too the backing plates take a longer tie rod..

You have them inside out(too catch the oil and grease) AND it needs to be turned 90
degrees...so it drains out the hole in the backing plate..

Dan,

I think the one's with the spacers crimped/tack welded on are e-28...left hand E-brake.
I'm 99.9% sure. The fronts will be the same way....I think it goes with the early drums.

We have used V8 caps on the 4 bangers with NO problems,...and this was on race cars.
