Does anyone know when the next High Country Tour will be? The last one was held in 2009 & it is definitely time for another- it is our favorite tour!

I know there was a national in Colorado in...

Re: Touring with other Model A's - How does your club communicate

I still prefer a CB radio. Whether it's just 2 cars or 20- it's instant communication without worry about a signal.

Re: Conflicting Dates for National Meets Part 2

Stop beating a dead horse. No amount of complaining or analyzing is going to change anything. There are two clubs. Two nationals. Just be thankful they don't coincide with each other every year. For...

Re: Air conditioning

A guy down in Houston tried it this way and sold several kits. Many buyers found it caused their cars to run hotter. With it under the rear of the car it doesn't affect the cooling of the engine. Ken...

Re: Model A air-conditioner

Trust me when I say you want to go with a Ken Davis unit & leave it the way he designed it to be! The only thing I would consider changing is cutting the tunnel out of the gas tank so it can go a...

You should check out the Autumn Trails event in Winnsboro, TX the last full weekend of October. It's my favorite trip of the year.

Re: Lester 550/575 -19

In my experience, Firestones were only good for about 7-8,000 miles, regardless of whether they were on front or back. I had much better luck with BF Goodrich Silvertown 550's before switching to...

Re: Fan horsepower. 2 blade, 4 blade or plastic?

Tex- I assume this is for your sedan. I know in the future you are planning on adding an AC. If this is still the case, I would suggest a 6 blade fan as the fan is mounted to the hub, not all as one...

Re: Pressurized radiator, good or bad?

A stock radiator does just fine. I had mine pressurized for touring in the mountains where water boils at a lower temp. And it's nice to never have to add water in the Texas heat. Just sucks it back...

Re: Squealing fan belt driving me CRAZY

It's one of Ken Davis's older units where the compressor is on the passenger side. It runs a dual belt system off of a double pulley on the crank. I'm familiar with the car. It's from Texas.

Re: Wayne Carini A-400

One thing could be said that all of the modifications are reversible. At least they were driving the car and putting it to good use. If you lived in Houston, Tx I'm sure you'd consider putting in an...
