Re: 35/36 headlight support brace

Although the 35 and 36 braces were interchangeable I believe it was 36 that the carriage bolt for the lower attachment to the radiator support, became an integral part of the brace.

Re: 1935 oil pressure gauge connections

The sender uses the engine block polarity (+ ground) so there is no need for a wire. The wire on the top of the sender goes to the pressure gauge. The gauge has two electrical terminals one for the...

Re: 1936 V8 Deluxe.

There is no "engine number" just the serial number stamped on the frame. Some of the unique models like 3-W and all the open cars also had a body number. The body was assembled by other companies...

Re: 32 steering wheel on a 35

The 35 wheel is very unique one year item. Check the ford club restoration book. The wheel has raised areas every inch or so around the perimeter. Very obvious.

Re: Question about Grille 1940 Standard / 1940-41 Pickup

It is my understanding that when Ford drawings were sent to various manufactures such as three different companies who could supply die cast grills, the parts would arrive at Ford with slight...

Re: 1932 oval inside mirror and window arms

Ford did not use the oval mirror until late in 36 yours appears to be taken apart removing the glass. Doubt there will be any interest in buying it.

Re: NORS Cast Iron Flathead Cylinder Heads - Wohlert

Looks like FOS and FOT are Wohlert part numbers. These letters can be found on in service heads and owners often wonder what they mean and what company made the heads.

Usually just pass coolant through the manifold and into a heater inside the vehicle. This is an aftermarket device.

Re: 1936 Speedometer / Odometer Question

Re: 1937 coupe condenser - engine pulse

If there was a wire from the condenser center isolated terminal to the case this would short the condenser and the engine would not start!
