Very good. On my 39, I installed discs in front. If the 39 stopped as well as the truck, I would not have switched.

They just opened a large airstream camper dealership a couple miles away. My 52 F1 (all stock) has a trailer hitch already in place. I assume for farm work.

Anyone put a small camper...

I had a bad shake at speed on the 52 F1. Took for wheel alignment and tire balance. Mechanic said tires were 15 years old and out of round. I bought 4 new tires got them balanced and now smooth ride.

I have a 6v powermaster alt. In my 39 for over four years. No problems yet.

As for tight belt, I’d be more concerned with water pumps, than the alt.

Been reading thatís some replacement door rubber is too hard. Making closing doors difficult. Which vendor sells the best, softest rubber?

Hi Pete

My 39 (w/ dual 94a) only has an electric pump. I never needed to run carb dry. I do not have any smell of gas in garage.

I would check for a leak. Maybe around fuel filter?

Ran it for 4-5 years. Over 10k miles, I sent skip an email, I’m still a happy customer and I told him that. However he wants to handle I’m fine.

It was the coil. Guess it was intermittent then totally died. The forth one borrowed from friend worked.

Put in new ignition switch yesterday.

I have 3.5-4 volts to coil.

But no spark now at plugs.
