Yes one wire is negative & the other is to the horn button which earths it to make it work.
The wires can connect either way as far as I can remember.

As that's an original ford horn so it will be 6Vs.
One wire is the power feed witch is live all the time & the other is the earth. The Horn button earths the horn to make it work.

Coopman has it correct. The front location is the only one of the 3 locations that has the 18- prefix stamped in front of the serial number..

Pech33 stated in his other thread about this frame...

Your spindles are not 38 they must be 35-36 All spindles from 37 on have that big centre hole & larger bolt holes. These will take all take 39 on backing plates.

That distributor looks like it needs a good rebuild. The cam looks rusty with no grease on it. The rubbing blocks may have worn down from the rusty dry cam and the point gap closed up. I would send...

Your Headlight lens with the indentations is a 33/34 lens. just bend up some clips to suit.

Yes you will have trouble getting the air out of the rear wheel cylinders. I have had trouble with bleeding the rear brakes on two 32s & some 34s with rotated backing...

David, it appears that the license plate lamp lens is red in the RH tail lamp. Was the dealer installed second tail lamp supplied like this?
