Some of the cam gears don't have a very deep dimple. After I locate the dimple I use a small mirror and flashlight to see if the dimple is perfectly in line with the pin hole.

This is the one I made. I use two straight pins pushed in the tread, set the pointer on the toe in fixture, push the car forward so the pins are on the front side of the tire, move the toe in fixture...

Pull the bolt that holds the generator on, slip the belt into the pulley, you can then work the bolt back in to mount the generator. Then set the tension, not tight but not loose. To tight causes...

I had a ignition lock with the A**** number and took it to a lock shop and they looked it up on their cards and made me a key right away. Try a lock shop and you should have success.

It is made from a junk starter end and bendix gear.

Had two rebuilt by AER. Well satisfied. AER has new owners now. Rich Falluca (probably spelled that last name wrong was the original owner that did mine. Have heard he took the new owner by the hand...
