I was given a 59 AB in great shape . Engine had issues overheating.
Cleaned the block after tear down with wire brush , filled two large
jars with debris . My guess PO tanked the block maybe but ...

So you found TDC turning motor both ways and using your math split in two for the dwell .
You also dialed in the cam with your wheel checking timing .

Crab condensor is a FA54 and cap and rotor is cap=FA65 and FA64 rotor
FA49 condensor is for a 37-41 helmet

Closer look at the Cam in this motor (Max1 ). From the looks of this photo valve most have hit hard on valve pocket in the A head .
