Be aware that in the Stewart Warner horn the screw on the end of the armature holding the ratchet wheel on is LEFT HAND THREADS!

I have the repro springs with the rubber plugs in the springs, hard as a rock. I took a punch & knocked them out, got lucky, now the engine sits perfect.

Just be aware that even at 40 MPH the T brakes are mostly a wish so plan ahead to stop or slow down.

In the hobby 50 years & haven't seen a source for horn parts you are looking for. What do you need, rack (straight gear) or piñon (round gear)?

If you have access to a lathe, chuck the plug in and turn the top lip off that holds the porcelain in, then just tap it out from the bottom. Save a lot of work.

We had an A at a meet some years ago that sounded totally stock as it went through the gymkhana , turned out to have a Pinto engine going through a stock A muffler. It just idled a bit smoother.
