Got mine from Macs Ford Parts . It’s not a water slide decal but a peel and stick that sticks on the inside of the glass.

Helped a friend do this same repair on his 40 engine using JB Weld and a piece of sheet copper. That was more than 20 years ago. Still running good.

Used a front spindle and hub to mount the wheel on and clamped it in the vise . Center drilled the cap and the end of the spindle so the homemade rod would register in it to eliminate wobble. Clamped...

Re: 40 Pickup Hood Release
The pickup handle is a little bit longer than the passenger car handle. I put a NOS pickup handle on my 40 30 years ago and no one has noticed the difference.

Re: Who can repair the fuel sending units
What’s the secret to removing the top from the sending unit? I have a three or four of them that doesn’t work but I kept them anyway. Would like to try to get them working again.

Starter pole shoe screws
What size is the square hole in the pole shoe screws on the starter? I know the later ones are larger than the earlier ones. Mine has a 3/8” thread size compared to the later 7/16”. I have the tool...

Old Gaskets
I have numerous old water pump kits and the gaskets shrunk over the years. Is there any cure for them or just use new. I hate to toss them out if theres a cure for them.
