I have a 1950 Ford convt I want to sell. My wife has passed on and my age tells me its time to move on. Where is the most effective place to advertise?

I have used C&G many times over the years ( lot of years ) and never had a problem. Only the best of service. Did you contact C&G yourself? If not you should.

I have Shell oil in my 50 ford. need to add 1 qt. I have a some new Vavloine oil. same weight. What is you think adding the Vavoline. I do not think it would make a difference.

A few years ago in the early 50s when I was in High School I worked in a SERVICE STATION. Note service. Well we would flush engines. 1/2 oil and 1/2 kerosene and run the engine until good and warm....

Try Mister Clean magic eraser the heavy duty one. I heard that its like 5000 grit. I use it on my white walls with Simple Green. Might do less damage than steel wool.

Frank Miller. How did you pull thr trans on your convt? Look like there is not enpugh clearance to pull it back because of the cross member. Kind looks like the bell housing needs to be pulled back...

I would take the plugs out and see if the engine will turn with a breaker bar. If so spray some oil in each cylinder and turn the engine over a few times before replacing the plug so that you do not...

Seems to me some place back in time I read that the washers were made of lead. So solder may be the thing. Make a ring of solder and solder the ends together.
