I have the switch hanging under there now. I just didn't want to disconnect the wiring till I have a new switch if I had to get one

Ok somehow I lost the keys to my 56 mercury, my question is, is there any way I can get the lock cylinder out without the key or should I just buy a whole new switch?

Well I am using a world class t5 from a mustang so the stock one should work even if I have to clearance the housing just alittle but I don't know what the stock mercury one looks like
